[A few minutes of cheer] Scene 6
For all those who aspire to become craftsmen in this day and age
Asaya Kanata, a high school boy who is absorbed in making music videos, is moved by a street performance he sees one day and strongly wants to make a music video for that song. However, the singer is a female teacher, Orishige Yu, who has given up on her musical career.
The screenplay for this work was written by Hanada Jukki, known for "Love Live!" and "A Place Further Than the Universe." Almost all of the visuals, from direction and production to character design, were created by the three members of the video production team "Hurray!", comprised of "Poprika," "Ohajiki," and "Magotsuki."
This is the first theatrical animation released by the team that is currently attracting the most attention, having worked on Yorushika's music video and the ending video for the TV anime "Shikimori's Not Just a Cutie." It is being produced using the free 3DCG software "Blender" as its main tool, and attention is being drawn to its unique and delicate image creation.
The song sung by Orishige Yu in the film was produced by VIVI, who is also active as a Vocaloid producer, and is sung by Sugawara Kei, who was selected as one of Spotify's promising next-generation artists. With her androgynous and emotional voice, Orishige Yu sings the feelings that she put into the song.
I want the people who watch it to look forward and smile.
Please, to you,
"A few minutes of cheer."
